I don't have Hollow Knight on Switch yet, but would love to port my pc save over. Has anyone checked if it's similar enough to port over?

Maybe, maybe not. We'd just have to wait for someone to try it. Though most games theoretically can have the PC save run on a console version of the game. A good example of this is Binding of Isaac: Rebirth where you can play your PC save on the 3DS version of the game.
more than likely in the amount of time it takes for someone to do this you could just get to where you are in the game again
The game save file for Switch is apparently also a .dat file like the PC version.
I hope someone tests it out since I have logged well over 40 hours and have 100% the game but not any of the dlc content yet. I was planning to do this on Switch but hate to start all over again tbh.
The save file might need some tweaking maybe?

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons. -

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.+1

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.

Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
