Well, I personally got jacked because of my DS. My cousin told to just shove it up my butt. I was cracking up! But seriously, just carry it around with you. And when you are charging, be sure to be watching it. If someone steals it and if you know who it is, just contact your landlord/lady I'm sure they'll be glad to help, unless they're mean as hell.

I have a foolproof idea to avoid having your DS stolen at college.

Leave the DS at home and concentrate on your class assignments instead of playing video games.

Good God thats a terrible idea

Buy a cheaper, older handheld to take away with you and leave the DS safe at home. Second hand GBA's go for £10-20 now, much cheaper to replace than a £100 DS, and less of a target for thieves seeing as they're not worth much. And as an added bonus: the games were a lot better!

This could make an idea on a homebrew that could set up passwords on your DS/DSi...

But in the other hand, if it was stolen, its done.. lol even if it has password protected thingy.. and i think you could actually reset the system by removing the battery?

Shame there isn't a new version of Flashme with the option of hard encoding a password into the rom that is needed on startup. Unless the theif knows how to reflash it of course it would be pretty cool.

Just put a game from the Imagine series in. If that doesn't scare them off I don't know what the hell will.
