Thank you. I have resorted to gamefaqs before and while trying to navigate the massive text I spoiled parts of the story for a different game and really didn't want that to happen with this game.

You're not doing it wrong but you're sure not going about it the best way.
Posting here about something which is on a very common help site is just going to take waaay longer than browsing for a few secs there.
Sure you can get the answer but you could also get off your lazy backside and find out from simple sources before resorting to asking here and getting answers which are from there anyway.

edit: ah well seems you have an actual reason which is nice^^ Though if you text search the relevant part and dont read on you should be safe.
