Ok so i was an idiot and did the ninty update to 4.1 like last week figuring i would have plenty of time to get rid of it. So now this morning my brother went to the system menu and it updated... I have a nand backup so i am safe but its a 2 months old backup. I am unable to access the system menu or HBC anymore and preloader. only thing i can access is bootmii. Is my only option to load the Nand?

Is there anyway to run HBC installer or Bootmii setup from the bootmii menu?

not really sure... i know that the 4.2 update had something to do with boot2...and that it would stop you from being able to downgrade... but you where able to so i think that the updat never got to update the boot2 .....
it's a really confusing situation you have got yourself in lol.....

    edit
... maybe there was something wrong back when you did the backup... and just never effected ... if you have an older backup i would try loading that up.... worth a shot at this point right...
