If I remember right -

Depending on the package you download, once unzipped you will find in one of the folders (/misctools/additional/ - I think) on your PC a selection of text files that you can placed into Moonshell's folder (on flash card) that disables certain features - one of these MIGHT be to disable 'Diskcheck'

I've also read that sometimes deleting the 'logbuf.txt' file can allow moonshell to boot up

& might be a silly question - are you using a DLDi-patched version or a 'clean' version

@Kermitfrog, disable diskcheck didn't work. I have tried both, DLDI patched and the clean version.

@Findcanno, I formatted it over and over but it still won't work.

Just been checking your error codes etc - & it just struck me that there's a line that states

'Boot from GBA memory'

Then I realised you stated a 'M3 Perfect' - which after a quick search is a Slot-2 device

I may be wrong (I'm sure someone will correct me) but I thought Moonshell only works on Slot-1 devices (as according to Moonshell WIKI

Another quick search & I found This review which states that it comes with 'custom version of MoonShell' - perhaps more 'patching' needs doing for it to work on a slot-2 device

Anyway just to double check I downloaded Moonshell 2 Beta 12 then after running the AutoDLDI program (/misctools/AutoDLDI/ folder), it does create a 'M3CF_MOON M3 Adapter (Compact Flash)' version

Could you try that version & see if it works !!

Moonshell should work on any device, as that's the entire point of DLDI. I'll admit I've never tried 2.0, but every version up to 1.71 has worked on my slot-2 Supercard.
