@deathkill781 I can't thank you enough for your devotion to this project. You, sir, are my hero
Yo someone made a video about this translation:
You definitely should! I can link you the app I built to help me translate easily, which auto repoints and everything. Whenever you feel like it, just tell me and I'll help you out with whatever you want!I might make a versión in spanish of this once it's complete

WE'RE BACK BOYS, GALS, AND THAT TECHNICOLOR RAINBOW IN BETWEEN!
Yo! How's everyone? Hope you're all doing well! As the title implies, I'm back with another patch. There's a lot that went on for this patch (even if doesn't seem like it), so kick back, relax, and please enjoy reading this post!
THE GOOD NEWS / WHAT'S NEW:
So, as you might know, I've been having a bit of trouble with the font, as I needed to make it smaller so that more words would fit, seeing as to how some quotes and their descriptions wouldn't. But that is now a problem of the past! After a lot of useless testing around trying to see if the font width was within the game's code, I figured eventually that it was actually imbedded into the font files. However, I couldn't really figure out how the fonts worked, so I just replaced it with the one from Dragon Ball Origins 2 (great game btw for those who want to check it out), as it was officially ported to the west, meaning it had a good font to work with. But then I was met with another problem. The new font didn't have japanese and special characters, and it didn't have any of the characters that represented in game input. So I had to painstakingly replace each english character with its counterpart from the newer font in the old font to get it to work. And lo and behold, it did! I like how it turned out because the new font really does look a lot neater, and it helped the text that didn't fit, well, fit. Here's a quick comparison of before and after and a preview of the font:
- The text and font:

I also changed it for the titles of the episodes, as it lacked special characters (like commas "," and apostrophes " ' "), but I kind feel like it's out of place, but my brother told me it was fine. Please tell me what you think! Here's a quick comparison of before and after:

Good thing is that it seems like it would fit more characters, but tell me what you guys think. Is it out of place?
As for the next thing, all images in the game are officially in english! (to my knowledge at least, if there is still more, do tell me, but I'm pretty sure I got them all). You already know that all the menu top graphics have been translated. Only things that were left were the story mode, and the what-if episode icons (to and back). Here's how they look:

Massive thanks again to @verypedro for doing the graphics for the top graphics and the buttons (Ik I didn't use all the buttons, but replacing them isn't an easy process, and the story mode is kinda the only one with wonky font, while the rest are actually more uniform, so I feel like it fits. FORGIVE ME PEDRO!!!)
As for what I continued translating in terms of text, you'd be happy to know that all text in regards to menus is completely translated!!! The most recent of which, which I did for this patch, is completing the customize menu, and know all quotes and effects are fully translated!!!

THE NOT SO GOOD NEWS / WHAT'S LEFT:
While most of what needs to be translated is done, it is in desperate need of a revamp, mainly the story mode menu (and what little of the dialogue I already translated) as I did most of it when I was still starting out with the project, meaning I didn't know about pointers yet, so I thought everything had to fit within the same space that was allocated for it in the japanese, which created some wonky dialogue. There is also a lot left to translate regarding the cutscenes, so I got my work cut out for me.
- The text:
I am currently struggling with the title screen, as all of what's in it is not a regular picture, rather they are 3d models. But not your regular DS standard 3d models, they are their own format (called .dse files for anyone interested), and I have no clue how they work. While I can decompress them to view them in their raw form, I have no clue how they're structured or where the textures are pulled from or where they are. I attempted to try debugging the game to see if I can figure out where they're being taken from, but I lack too much knowledge to be able to do it.

CLOSING STATEMENTS:
I just wanted to quickly apologize for this patch taking this long, but I have stated multiple times that I am in a very much unstable situation as of the current moments, and passing through very trying times. And for those that say I don't need to be working on this in such situations, I know and I agree, but doing this makes me pass time and brings me some feel of normalcy and comfort in such a hard situation. I use it to keep my mind off of what's going on around me, as I can't destroy myself by constantly agonizing over it. It's unhealthy. And as they say, life goes on. So yeah. That's it from me guys. I hope you enjoy this patch and await the next one! Talk to you when it's time for the next patch! See ya!
TL;DR: New patch is out. Finished all text translations (the new thing is the customization menu) and translated all images. All that's left is revamping some old stuff, finishing dialogue in cutscenes, and the title menu, which I have no clue how to do.
PS: I hope someone notices the DBZA cell reference in the title lol

I am using google translate to understand this, but I agree. The fact that you don't have to work on the font is enough to justify using this one instead of starting from scratch. Other than that, I think that other guy on youtube abandoned it anyways, so you might just have to work on it yourself regardless.Creeme que te conviene trabajar encima de la traducción, está mejor diseñada, además de que está mejor estructurado
You know what? Im gonna do it alreadyYou definitely should! I can link you the app I built to help me translate easily, which auto repoints and everything. Whenever you feel like it, just tell me and I'll help you out with whatever you want!
Go right ahead! Fair warning, some msg files are a bit fricked up, because i repointed them in a weird way, so I suggest holding off until I fix them up. If you don't want to wait till then, just translate these ones in specific from Japanese (I think actually the only one that is fricked up is the options file, as I'm half sure that I adjusted the object list with the app). Anyways, here a link to the github repo so you can use it, but I suggest letting me upload the latest changes first, as I haven't yet. I'll tell you when I do. How do I use that? there arent even compiling instructions (although i'd prefer an already compiled copy anyways)Go right ahead! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Sorry! But when I sent you the last message it was very late, and I went to sleep straight after. If you check now, you should find an updated version of the source code, as well as a release version of the application. Don't ask me while the size is so large even though it's such a simple application, I genuinely don't know, but anyways, all you gotta do is extract the files, and run the NDSTextEditor.exe, select the file you want to edit, and edit them accordingly. Sorry again for the late reply! How do I use that? there arent even compiling instructions (although i'd prefer an already compiled copy anyways)

Edit: I didn't say it before, but the files need to be extracted out of the rom already. You use the MSG files, which are the files that contain the text that you want to edit. I will fix it to work on the sbt file, which contains the dialogue soon, but for now, you can start using it for those
