First of all I am no noob.

Hey I am having some problems with USB Loader GX. I am using cIOS rev14 and Hermes cIOS rev4 38 merged with 37. I have a brand new WD My Book essentials 1TB 2 partitions 500gb FAT32 and 500gb WBFS.

OK so my problem is I am dumping my original SSBB to my hard drive via the usb loader everything goes fine my disc is spotless and my lens has been cleaned about a week ago. So I setup my configuration force PAL60, Fix error 002 as yes, patch country strings on, cIOS 222 this is my setup for SSBB. So I boot it loads great I start watching the intro video to see if it lags or not and well it stutters sometimes but always in the same spot I think it is the bit with Lucas appearing it freezes. I press A it gets to the start screen then I press A again then the screen goes White. Strange thing is though if I skip the intro video at the start it gets to the menu fine.

I have tryed installing again and I have also tried Hermes cIOS rev3 36 merged with 37 but no luck [IMG] I have also tried different USB loaders but... You know...

This is the only game that does this too me. I was just wondering if anybody knows a way too fix this via IOS, USB loader, configuration etc...

Edit: I have also tested other games that do video streaming they work a treat. Sorry about the punctuation doing this post on my iPhone.

does your iphone give the ability to search as well? this game is one of the single most talked about title in loader-land these days, as rev 14 appears to have mangled the loading of dual layer discs.

use configurable usb loader. with the following settings:
    ios 222
    boot from ios222mload

you will need to have hermes ios.
if it still doesnt work, you need to dump the game with 222 not 249.

back in the late 90s, when i got my non-noob certificate, we had to pass a test. part of the test was to use that google button on the internet machine. here's a study guide http://lmgtfy.com/?q=ssbb+usb+loader+glitch

For fuck sake. No wonder your called gbafail.

I have tryed IOS 222 and configurable USB loader but still get odd lags.

Everyone else complaining about my first sentence your just a bunch of pricks. I have been in the Wii scene since the start so don't call me a noob.

One last thing your search feature SUCKS! This forum is so cluttered with random shit I can't find a decent answer...

    ROFL!

More moaning and getting called a major noob wow! Maybe djdynamite was right...

This site is probably 99% pirates anyway. I guess making a new thread will always lead to argument on this site.

I guess I will try configurable USB loader again to see if the lag happens again. I guess you can call me a perfectionist.

Ok now for a serious answer , ive had the same experience with some other games, searched and asked for days, no one knew.... Till i came across something about the wii unit overheating to much. So i cleaned my air intake and outlet of my wii which was filled with dust. And voila magically my wii functioned properly again..

I have taken my wii apart and cleaned it, but stupidly I have one screw left and the usb slots are slightly in thre suppose to be out a bit more. But I am tired and I am going to tak apart again tomorrow and sort those problems out. Then I will test if any lag happens.

Wim6 I would like to thank you it worked [IMG]

Just took it apart and cleaned the main board. No more video lag but SSBB still freezes in the same spot (Lucas)

Oh well if I skip the intro video it is all fine.
