I'm kind of surprised no one has released a browser exploit for SKATER until now. It's been mentioned that it's vulnerable, in fact it was mentioned right after the n3DS launched, but no one has bothered.
It doesn't matter that much anymore, but for those who don't own Cubic Ninja it might serve as an alternate entry point for CFW loading, which is pretty cool in itself.
And of course now it will be possible to run things like ARCodes, save dumpers and such through the browser again.

So? There were all the time hackers. This just let's us use browserhax on the newest version. That is ofc nice and all, but just because someone is trying doesn't mean we'll get one just because of this. Don't you think many people before this announcement were trying stuff like this?

I would do that, but I have a bunch of digital versions of games (Pokemon Y, SSB, etc.) that I'd rather keep than lose by selling/trading my 3DS for an exploitable one.

Of course also the YT app. The youtube app uses an older webkit version which is still vulnerable to the exploit.
Tubehax can do all the magic stuff because of the spider exploit. The advantage of browserhax is that we could do stuff like memory editing because you can start the browser while you are still in the game. (As far as I understand it)
