Anime Expo has come and gone, and such an event always brings numerous video game releases and teases. This thread will cover all the important announcements and reveals that happened at the expo, mostly focusing on localization announcements from company panels.

    • The Seven Deadly Sins anime is getting a video game adaptation, in the form of a 3D action adventure game, exclusive to the PlayStation 4. Subtitled Knights of Britania, it'll hit western shores "early" 2018.
    • A new Gundam game, Gundam Versus will be getting a localization, and it will release on September 29th, exclusively on PS4.
    • The upcoming PlayStation 4 port of Zero Time Dilemma has already been announced, but Aksys has finally given a solid release frame. The game will be out on August 17.
    • Developer Arc System Works's and French Bread's arcade fighting game, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late will get a western version, which will include new playable characters. It'll release for PlayStation 3, 4, and Vita late this year. Out of those, only the PS4 release will be physical.
    • Two more otome Idea Factory visual novels, Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly, and Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk both will be out for the Vita next year.
    • 7'scarlet, yet another otome from Idea Factory, will also release for, surprise! The Vita, in 2018.
    • Collar x Malice, previously announced for an English release at last year's Anime Expo, is finally releasing sometime this month, July 2017
    • Tales of the Rays, a mobile game based upon Bandai Namco's Tales series will be launching this summer for iOS and Android.
    • The Fate/Extella Nintendo Switch port will launch on July 25, and a new Steam/PC port was also revealed to release on the same day.
    • Hyperdimension Neptunia series producer Naoko Mizuno said during an expo panel, that if fan support is large enough, the Neptunia series could very well come to the Nintendo Switch.
    • Demon Gaze, a DRPG released in 2014 for the Vita, will be getting a sequel this fall. It'll be out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
    • Yomawari: Midnight Shadows was already announced prior to this, but NISA gave the game a release date, which is October 27th. It will launch for PS4 and PSV as well.
    • Penny Punching Princess is a isometric brawler that focuses on using money to win battles. It's coming to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation Vita this spring.
    • The Longest Five Minutes has been delayed into 2018, but to make up for it, the game will be on the Switch. The Longest Five Minutes is also releasing on PSV and PC.
    • Aksys Games is on a roll with visual novel releases, as Bad Apple Wars is slated for a September 29th release, for the Vita.
    • The Naruto series isn't done yet, as Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is heading west in early 2018, for PS4, XBO, and PC. It's a multiplayer online game with 4v4 fights.
    • An action RPG based upon the popular anime by Studio Trigger, titled Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time is set to release early next year for PS4 and PC.
    • Jake Hunter Detective, an adventure game series from Arc System Works, will be getting another chance at localization in the form of Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Detective. It's coming to the Nintendo 3DS sometime in 2018.
    • Steins;Gate "World Line Project" is another game in the Steins Gate series, teasing that more details would be revealed on July 28, a date chosen specifically for its impact in the series. Whatever the project is, it was given a release timeframe of 2018 to 2019.

I don't see the point in playing Japanese games if the devs wont stop creating games that uses decades old game mechanics, while every one else in other country's are using modern game mechanics. Japan is stuck in the past and they need to get their shit together.

Don't know any of the games names, just the category. But if it involves the player character being a girl and having a bunch of guys to date and whatnot then yes.

I forgot to mention that there are exceptions for some of the bigger well known company's such as SE, Nintendo, and Bandai.
