ROM Hack animal map help

hi i got animal map a wile ago and ever time i try to use it i get this
ERROR: Bad Checksum or mirror copy.
see faq. run the game for a short time,the backup again
i saw the faq and it dint work
i have r4i gold and animal map 1.8
