Misc Animal Crossing Wii

Hi me and my friend are trying to get onto nintendo wifi on animal crossing wii and it keeps saying this message:
for some curious reason, there is no respons.
Theres a possibility that that person has disconnected from Nintendo WFC...
It is also possible that you have been removed from that persons friend roster
ive asked him if he removed me and he says no
im pretty sure that his wifi works.
it worked fine before
so... whats the problem

it doesnt matter anymore I looked up the error code and it said the servers are too busy, so he came to my village.
