Animal Crossing possibly a launch title for Korean 3DS release?

News comes to us from an official Nintendo of Korea Press Release announcing the date, pricing, and launch line up for the Korean 3DS. The wording is a little bit odd due to using Google Translate but if someone who speaks Korean would like to elaborate, be my guest!

Highlights from the Press Release:

• Launch date: April 28th, 2012
• Launching at $195 dollars (220,000 won)
• Launch colors: COBALT BLUE, MISTY PINK, and COSMO BLACK
• Supposed launch titles: Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Mario & Sonic Lundon Olympic, Animal Crossing, Star Fox 64 3D, The Legend of the Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Nintendogs + Cats, Super Pokemon rumble, Tekken 3D Prime Edition, Maple Story 3DS
• Mentions Maple Story 3DS, an otherwise unconfirmed title which was supposed to launch on the DS eons ago! To say Maple Story is big in S.Korea though is an understatement.

Yeah I almost feel like this awesome launch line-up is to make up for the fact that they STILL don't even have the 3DS yet. Also launching a year after NA/EU release certainly allows them to have a good line-up.

But the 3DS is early enough in its lifespan for a chance at an English translation from Nexon America.

That to say if we find a Korean 3DS with an Ambassador Game on it, that'll be instant news.

I would think everyone in this thread knows that; this is the official release of the 3DS in Korea.

And if Animal Crossing is being released in April over there (which I really hope is true) then i hope it comes to Europe then too! I've been waiting forever!

Korea always has been late to get their releases, they don't get first party Wii/DS titles until years after the big three release territories.
I'm not sure why exactly.

Still, guess we'll all soon be seeing some Korean players on Mario Kart 7 as well,
