but the DLC wouldn’t have fit in the cart
I have no problem with added features I have problems with Physical releases being half a$$ed I’m buying Physical to save space not to have download bug fixes that equal the cart size  release Physical when the games are ready

also new fans are being tricked into thinking it’s something new for Animal Crossing:rolleyes: Nintendo at it’s best

Do you work for them and have all the information of what the game was supposed to have by release date?

These can be free updates to keep the game going. Rocket League is about to be 5 years old, and there are still updates going. So is that game still unfinished? Hell, Runescape is almost 20 years old and still has updates, is that game unfinished? Several versions of Windows have updates, are they unfinished? Consoles, bluray players, TV's, so many electronic items have updates. Are they all unfinished? Are we just stuck in a constant state of an unfinished perpetual world?

Just trying to understand. If you believe everything there is, indeed, unfinished, that's fine. I just want to make sure.

It's new for them, so why does it matter?

People are so dogmatized against DLC that they now see free DLC as a bad thing like it's literally free stuff who cares.

Plenty sad people here with nothing but conspirative skepticism left in their broken souls. And the usual entitlement, that's never missing.

Because all nintendo has put out since Pokemon SS launched are ports (xenoblade being egregiously bad), half finished games that will take years to be finished, or just straight up bad games (pokemon unite, origami king).

I mean a fucking pandemic happened. You can't blame Nintendo for an almost empty year.

okay what the fuck??? NH was already pretty damn complete as it was, but now when a new feature in an update gets added the game is "unfinished" now?? are you delusional or something???

It's just classic GBAtemp and tempers being overly toxic. You can't enter one thread without seeing one person complaining, its the first rule of gbatemp. you could hand some of the people here free food and they'll still complain

It looks shitty. Worse than the wii sometimes in handheld. People like you are the reason why it looks shitty because they buy the shit without a second thought.

    More on topic...

The game has less stores than new leaf and more main npcs only appear in certain times.
The game has less collectibles and species than new leaf.
The game has less content in general so that players wouldn't access it all by time traveling.(While the directors admit they don't consider it cheating.)
The game's UI makes things take longer than they should and pads the game out.
The game has no way to back up your save so that the animal crossing esports teams wont suffer.

Hmm, I see. I wasn't aware, since I don't really care for the series.
You're right though, it doesn't look too bad to me.

So if I'm reading the comments correctly, people would've been happier if they had kept the game in its release state and simply called it finished? When did I wander into the bizarro dimension?

We literally paid 60 bucks for an incomplete game, every content update since day 1 was Nintendo re-implementing old features.

A joke of new content, literally a single maze that will repeat for years to come (in theory), where you just get to meet Rover. It's nostalgic pampering at its best since Rover was MIA.

Yeah, I live in Brazil and found it pretty off-putting lol. I can't wait for the winter update in December, when it is summer over here.

What, don't you ever go to the store to buy a singular sardine?

There is no comparison between AC:NH, even in its launch state, and games that are TRULY incomplete, such as anything in Steam Early Access. The fact that New Leaf had an overabundance of content and features doesn't change that, it just means people are used to being completely spoiled and now aren't happy about being just kinda spoiled while updates are rolled out.
