um for some reason im on the latest patch but the easter event is not going and I can't find the bunny wtf is going on,I'm playing on my legit firmware after I removed all my CFW and im online now but seriously wtf

I found him on the beach but that's when I applied 1.1.1a on April 1st.

When I re-inject my old save (prior to meeting the bunny) but on April 2nd, the bunny is nowhere to be found. So maybe he only appears on 1st and would appear again on the 12th?

@Lupe I've found if you go back to march 31st save,skip to 1 april then you'll get the message from isabelle saying that easter or some shit is only a few hops away but still nothing, the event trees ,eggs everywhere and such are everywhere but no bunny

I see! Thanks for the info. I wonder what triggered the whole 'Bunny' appearance but I'm assuming that it shouldn't affect much on the event itself since you're to hunt the eggs and recipes anyway. And even though I couldn't find the bunny, this morning one of the villagers ran up to me and give me Easter DIY Recipe so I assume you can still hunt eggs and DIYs despite not seeing the bunny.

I'm wondering how to make text/string modifications to the game. I've dumped the game files and tried modifying strings in the msbt files inside Messages/*.sarc.zs files but it doesn't appear to change anything in-game. Anyone successfully done this? E.g. I tried to change the text when you try to eat too much fruit - I thought editing SYS_Telepathy.msbt 414 would work but I tried change both USen and EUen files and the message in game didn't change. I extracted the .sarc.zs files with switch tool box, edited with kuriimu then repacked the .sarc.zs with the edited msbt using switch toolbox again. I confirmed another mod - the Isabelle one on gamebanana - does work correctly. So maybe the files I'm changing are not the right ones.

seems like with this update you cant update your game via local. when you try it just doesnt let you join the group to update the game.
