Yes, AD3C7FD8 works if you only have one single player on your island.
But when you add a few more players, then start the game with different player, their inventories get swapped around...

Launch the game with player 1 (representative):

Just a small warning but items like pumpkin pie/other turkey day foods cannot be picked up once you set them down. I don't think they're meant to be spawned/used right now. Things like the Berliner are fine.

Just to confirm - when you say "legit" switch, are you referring to a clean, unhacked switch? Does this mean we can transfer our island from an unhacked clean switch to a hacked (banned) unit, mod it there, and transfer it back to the clean switch without the fear of having the clean switch banned?

After trying this out, I pretty much understand the new system of Slot ID's
