Just a heads up just incase no one knows 100% they have locked down all All holidays I tested that much jack is not there on Halloween or anything so I don't know if this is gonna be like this all the time or if it changes how we can get items or if they have it locked down from now on or they will unlock them with a new update before the holidays.

nhse changes the save data (you need jksv to back it up) so it works just fine, even if you arent on the switch
and your code wouldnt work... not very sure but try this

i think they locked the events, even if you do TT it wont spawn the event

they probably locked it with BCAT again like they did the wedding event. but it's all good, since the items and diy are in the update already.

here are all (if not most items) of the winter update, load them in the storage (because there are too many)

Dude, thank you for this, going to retry tomorrow with the latest version of jksv. The only thing I can think of is I accidentally restored a BCAT backup over a device save, or used jksv in applet mode and failed to get it to work properly. It would only list "new" under backup/restore for ACNH I assumed it wasn't reading save data. Apparently for some people you have to hold L and R while pressing A for it to backup a save in jksv. Will do some adjustments and let you know how it goes.

i use L + A to open jksv, but to restore press Y and keep pressing A until it starts

Yeah, with jksv you can save and restore your island
