Judging by the age of your system menu, your Wii probably doesn't have the resources sufficient to play this game

You don't need it. It's only used for online communication (you can still type messages though), AFAIK.

If you are using a flashcard for Wild World, you CANNOT transfer your character from your DS to the Wii Sadly

If you have black screen problem you need to use Freeloader or Gecko OS to play. worked for me on my PAL UK console.

The problem was for Pal users we need to use Gator OS or Freeloader to boot it, for some reason my gator os didnt work the first time

I am NTSC and it seems as though I need Gator OS as well. I have WiiKey and its going to the black screen the PAL user described. I am trying to get the homebrew channel on this baby now. Will report back my findings.

Ah how odd, give it a try I guess. Black screen usually is region blocking and Gecko OS gets around Region blocks, so for an NTSC user to have that problem with an NTSC game maybe it is a form of chip detection and Gecko OS is somehow getting past it? dunno.
