Thanks for the screen shots, I can't wait for it to be released.
It is just what I need, another game that will take up time I don't have.

its interesting that this game looks like it was copied and pasted straight from the DS version. I understand keeping the style of the characters, simple models and the such, but they could have at least made the environment look better.

Oh, it's definitely smoother. There's nothing you can do to make the graphics better while keeping the art style so simple. I'm love it.

Although I know where they're coming from, trying to keep the style simple and all...but I had hoped that they'd atleast make the fruit Actual Polygons...

Why is the European release still TBA? Everywhere else gets a release date but not the damned PAL version. Gah, i'll just have to get the NTSC version. Or maybe the Japanese version, just to be a real rebel...

As for those shots, i've seen them all before. They're not that new, TBH.

Cause they have to translate it into like 15 different languages for Europe whereas only 2 for North America [IMG]

The only thing I won't like about this is the Wii controls. Hopefully they'll allow use of the GC controller.

So disappointing and such a missed opportunity. Animal Crossing: Wild World was great and I'm glad they opted to model the world after Wild World, rather than the Cube version, but man, it's just more of the same. It still looks just as limited. I was really hoping to venture out a lot further with this version, and what they are offering is such a lazy endeavor. But Nintendo knows they can still sell the shit out of it with minimal effort, so why bother...right?

I agree, it looks just like Wild World, but with the models smoother/updated so that it looks decent on a big TV.

    Nothing new there apart from:

Wouldn't it be three for NA with English, French & Spanish?

Still dunno why people care about the way it looks, the series has never been about its looks and what it does look like suits the what Nintendo are aiming for with this game. My only concern with the title is it giving us something new other than voice chat.

I'd like to see more competitions, tournaments and so on. I see a pool table there, how about being able to challenge people? This is gonna be the big online Wii game, its needs something more going for it.

I liked the GC game but the DS one I never got into.
