I'm using CFG USB Loader 70b6 and I'm trying to get Animal Crossing City Folk to work. At the moment all I get is a black screen when I try to run it.

I know that this game uses IOS38 which is needed for the Wii Speak. When I soft-moded my Wii just a week ago I used the Softmod ANY Wii guide. This guide recommends installing a bunch of IOS's and IOS38-64-v4124 is one of them. I've used SysCheck to ensure that IOS38 is installed ok. When this didn't work I tried installing IOS38-64-v3609, which I understand is the IOS that was included on the Animal Crossing disc.

I haven't changed any of the settings within CFG USB Loader for this game, as I'm not sure what any of the options do. So at the moment CFG USB Loader is set to run this game with the following options:

    IOS: 248
    Block IOS Reload: Auto

I'm fairly new to this and I don't fully understand how the IOS/CIOS setup all works. I think I understand what a IOS is, and how different games require different IOS files, but I'm not sure how that relates to CIOS files (i.e. if Animal Crossing is looking for IOS38 then why doesn't CFG USB Loader let me specify that IOS as the one to use?)

    My SysCheck log shows:

    sysCheck v2.0 by Double_A
    ...runs on IOS58 (rev 6176).

    Region: PAL
    System Menu 0.0 (v54450)
    Hollywood v0x11
    Console ID: 120516160
    Boot2 v4

    Found 117 titles.
Found 50 IOS on this console. 4 of them are stub.

Maybe you have a bad copy of the ciso? It happens for me a lot, so I try another copy.
