So I just hacked and installed CFW on an original 3DS I recently bought. I am doing this for my boyfriend and I have a N2DSXL and a 2DS. Both I have hacked with success and am able to do this with. But when I try to install a theme with no BGM and install BGM from one I do like, when I push "start" and "home" and get brought back to the main home menu... it's still making 3DS sounds, no music whatsoever. I have tried doing this manually by putting my SD card into my computer and copy/pasting the BGM an bgm.bcstm or whatever that file extension is named... still no luck. Does anyone know what the issue might be?
(Here are the steps I take when I install)
1. Highlight theme I want that has no BGM installed
2. Press A then Up, let go of A
3. Highlight theme with BGM I want
4. Press A then left, let go of A
Do you think it may be because this theme has no BGM to begin with? Does it work only with themes that have BGM but you want a different BGM from a different theme?
