Anbernic recently announced its nth console of the year, the RG406V, and the company has today revealed the pricing and launch details for the retro handheld.

The Anbernic RG406V will be available for sale on September 19th as from 18:00 Beijing time. The device has an MSRP of 164.99 USD but an early bird deal of 154.99 USD will be available for the first 72 hours via the official Anbernic website and AliExpress store.

these guys are slowly making the prices of these cheap knockoffs more expensive. guess they are following in the line of sony. I bought some previous Anbernic's $89. These are almost double and dont seem to have that much more power than the ones I bought. sure a new aesthetic design but i dont see where the cost increases are coming from.

maybe they thing following sony is the way to go.

Yeah I almost grabbed that but something more pocket able would be welcomed in vita formfactor even they got so close to my perfect device with the cube I just want 16:9.
