An Orange Death

Hey this is my entry for PAlib's compo called An Orange Death.

You are santa, and after receiving an orange instead of a deicious cookie for the holidays, you overreacted and chased the boy who served you an orange. In your anger, you crashed to your death only to arrive at the gates of heaven.
Your misdeed has costed you so you must now prove your worth by fending off enemies who are trying to escape. Every so often a 'goody' will appear. Don't step on him as that will cause more enemies to come. There are pesky baddies which will drain your health/oranges/gloves so avoid them.

The opposite screen from you shows your health, number of oranges which will be useful during the boss battle, number of gloves which can slow down enemies, weather and powerups, and score and level.





There's a boss fight at the end so if you wish to skip right to it just hold down
'R + L + A' to go to it. You can also hold those buttons during the boss fight if you want to see the ending.
