This is a dark time for Nintendo Homebrew users.

Ironhax AND Tubehax got patched just today. Ironfall V1.0 - 1.1 users can still use ironhax, but if you ever need to redownload...

And if you are even connected to Nintendo eShop's servers right now, even if you change your DNS, Tubehax is gone forever.

Not to mention a new firmware update for all Wiis, DSis, (I can't confirm this tho) Wii Us and 3DSs is being released soon, which will undoubtedly patch browserhax, themehax, and maybe even OoT3DHAX and smashbroshax, and possibly the mysterious Kernel hack that isn't released yet for 5.5.0 Wii Us.

This means we might possibly be back to square one: Cubic Ninja.

Oh dear god.

Thankfully, smealum has stated a while back some exploits might be being held back for a situation like this since plans were in place, so we won't be stuck with Cubic Ninja again.

Yellows8 never said all his exploits were released.

On the bright side, the source code for tubehax was released, and if the 5.5.0 Kernel exploit is patched, it'll be released to the public. And who knows, maybe none of this will happen.

But Sky3DS has to be like 100% patched now, or nintendy's being lazy again

For IronFall: Invasion and YouTube being patched, look to the skies man
For a new firm version, a huge maintenance drop is happening for the 3DS, DSi, Wii and Wii U in 4 days, and someone on Temp said so kay
For other exploits being patched, mere speculation, but very likely.
For plans being made for this situation/exploits being held back, pure speculation.

Nintendo's online infrastructure is getting a complete overhaul. I'm guessing they didn't patch the exploits sooner because they figured they'd be useless once the big update dropped.
I wouldn't be surprised if the next update (I'm guessing 10.2 but I could be wrong) will completely break EmuNAND support since it's supposedly so radically different to anything we've seen before, but this is just wild speculation on my end.
Just be cautious, keep your consoles off the internet and wait. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

Yes and No.
No if you mean just update it to V1.2.
Yes, since you'll need to reinstall it with 10.2.0-27/28 and above payloads, which you can't do.

I cannot confirm if anything is happening on the DS or the Wii.
But the firm is going to have to be patched for DeNA, so it seems so.

I've disconnected my Wii U from the Internet.
My DSi and my old3DS aren't going back on for a while anyway.
But I haven't done anything about my new3DS and Wii yet...BRB.

Except an update for the Wii and DSi's eshops is present in the current schedule.
While the online play on both of those consoles isn't active, all transactions made in those shops is still wired through your Nintendo account I believe, and as such any massive overhaul will also affect them. It will probably be a minor update and won't block anything, but I could be wrong.
Keep in mind that any update to the Wii's firmware also affects the Wii U's vWii.

This exactly. Why patch userland homebrew in which you can't pirate 3DS games, and not patch a 3DS piracy cart? It seems like it'd be a higher priority than *hax, unless they REALLY hate regionfree.
