anywhere from 16 to 512 depending on rom size (16=every rom is 256MB, 512=every rom is 8MB)
but yeah, as said above, pointless thread..
really depends on the sizes

The OP doesn't tell us if they are asking out of curiosity or wondering how much can fit onto their card.
Without that information, who is to say it's a pointless thread?

The OP specifically asked about a 4GB, so I'm assuming it's for their card.
But we won't know for sure unless they tell us.

Those might take up a bit of space if you don't trim them.

Trimmed, around 50-115 depending on the games. You also need to leave some space for saves, around 75-100MB.

Newer games tend to take up more space than older games.

Hey, sorry I am new to this. What is trimming, can I do that myself, or would the torrent I download have to come pre trimmed?

You have to trim it yourself. There are programs you can use to trim it.
If I recall, you can actually enable the feature to trim the rom while copying on the Acekard itself under system options.

I have a rom file which is 128MB but after trimming it became 16MB wtf... can i still play it?
It should be fine.
May I ask what game it is?

EDIT: If it's WarioWare D.I.Y., then yes, it's fine. Mine did the same thing, and it works perfectly.

Alright thanks for the help. Do you know the name of that trimmer program by chance? Would like to read up on it.

There are a couple, just search it on google to come up with a few quick results (I'm too lazy to trim mine, so I don't really want to recommend something I have never used xD).
