A long time ago, I used an Amiibo I had already used on a legit .cia game I had downloaded on my 3DS on a Nintendo Switch. I’ve always been wondering if Nintendo could ban you and track you through an Amiibo you used on a CFW device like a 3DS and then used on a non-CFW device like my switch, as bizarre as it sounds. I made sure to delete the game data and reset the Amiibo once I realized I had just used the Amiibo on my switch and then reset it to guarantee no trace of it was left but the questions always been in my mind. I’ve never been banned on the console cause I haven’t CFW’d my Switch or done anything bad but can Nintendo ban you through an Amiibo like that? A stupid question I know. Just wanna make sure and get the best response.

No I don't think so. The Amiibo doesn't store that kind of info, as far as I know.

it's a glorified nfc tag, no it doesn't store data like that.
