american psp with australian charger

    i'm buying an american PSP and was wondering if i could plug an australian adapter into it?

    The psp adapter comes in two parts. The first is the power brick with a cord which connects to the psp, and the second part is a cord that connects to the wall (this is the part you are concerned about).

    So yes, it should work.

    The only part thats different on the charger for each region is the actual plug bit. You can get the USA one and just buy the plug end from a store in your country for a few dollars.
    I'm in England and bought the JPN PSP when it launched and it was fine. I'm trying to think of what the wire is called you will need, best way to to describe it is too look at a PS2 or XBOX power lead. Either of those will fit into the PSP charge wire if you have one?

    i'm only getting the PSP so what if i buy a whole new charger?
