Hacking American psp refuses to play French umd movie

hi guys so i borrowed my mates psp 1000 thats running cfw 6.60 pro b10 and i bought a French umd movie from eBay and when i try to view movie it states disc cannot be started. The region code isn't correct

any way for me to watch? id also like to dump iso later but for now just want to watch

Go to the recovery menu, there is an option to fake the region.

Dump the UMD, to the memory stick, and load it via cfw?

ok so I change USB mode to use umd and go to USB mode on psp and it lock up my psp.

when I did it this the region thing was set back to default

i donot mean to be impatient, but i need to give my mate his psp back by friday, and I need to let the ebayer know if it work or no

Use pandora and creade a new ID storage and select to use a European region id.
After that you can play all the region 2 UMDs you want.
You can use pandora to revert your PSP to American id or Japan ID...

Find online for Pandora psp unbrick. When you have done the pandora battery and the mms, in the pamdora special recovery menù, you can build a new id storage. After varius prompot you can chose your psp region, select europe and you can play EU video umd.
