Good news for Windows 8 seekers and supporters as AMD has teamed up with the Bluestacks's team to bring the AMD AppZone Player that would allow 500,000 mobile Android apps to run on the Windows 8.
The Bluestacks application allows Windows 7 computers to run Android apps such as Whatsapp and Angry Birds. With Windows 8 having only 2000 apps in their store, this will provide a great boost to user interest on the new OS to be released next month.

Great thing or problems looming ahead?

Great things. Google's web browser already lets many android apps run on Windows. Getting a huge chunk of the entire library of android apps can only help boost the start of windows 8.

Just tested this and its just awesome. A plain efficient android emulator. It just ran every single apk I have thrown at it.
It works also on windows 7; so this is great news for android devs.
Only for amd video cards users but there must be a way around  I need this on my laptop
