Gaming Amazon: order a 3DS, get a credit for a game 25$ off

At first I just thought it was a book bag, but then look closely ... why just why?

Hey, that's what I'm choosing as my free accessory. Everything else looks so boring and useless...and never heard of CTA's quality in things like styli and screen protectors.

I....I actually might pick that thing too.

If I want to get screen protectors later I can get them cheaper than $10 (which is what the pet thing usually is) and the pet thing could be useful! If I drop it, it'd be nice and cushy.

Although, something bad about it that I noticed--if you go to the product's page you can see a pic of a 3DS in it, in the position you'd be playing it. A strap is going across the hinge, blocking the DSi or 3DS camera, and on the other side of the top screen...if you use this with a 3DS or DSi, your camera's will be seeing black. I guess you could just use it as a carrying case though.

Looks like I'll be spending all the money in my wallet on that 3DS. I don't wanna cancel my preorder 3 days before and risk not getting the 3DS on Sunday. I've been looking forward to this Sunday most of this year...

A 3DS game for 5$. Of course, a 3DS game for 15$ is awesome too. This just made my day that I can get a 3rd game now.

Could you buy the 3DS and a game then buy another game with the $10 credit off? If so that's like a 3DS and 2 games for $290. Not bad considering there's like only two good looking launch titles (I think Samurai Warriors Chronicles is launching with the NA release and then there's SSFIV. Or Rayman if SW isn't your cup of tea).

I just spoke with a customer service guy from Amazon. He verified that you can pre-order a 3DS then pre-order one of the games from the list and then apply both the $25 and the $10 promotional credits to the second game you buy so you only pay $5 for your second game. Screenshot attached:

I have decided to pre-order from amazon!

It's much much cheaper than our local set which is about US$300 (I'm from Singapore)

Even with shipping it's cheaper! and I called up the local distributor and she said the only difference between the sets are the chargers.

So yea. I won't be able to hold my 3ds a launch but I'll be able to get a hell lot of discounts and a weird pet case??

The only thing I'll lose out on is the 3 month local warranty. I doubt my 3ds is going to break after 3 months-_-

That's really cool, I already pre-ordered my 3DS with SSFIV3DE in February, so I'll get 25$ towards another 3DS game and 10$ towards whatever I want.
But, will they expand the choice of 3DS games and accessories? There's not really any 3DS game that interests me for now except for Street Fighter, and the accessories don't look so useful.

Amazon sent me a ridiculous number of emails today, but it boiled down for purchasing the 3DS, SF, and monkey ball to $45 in game credits + $20 towards next order + free accessory. So I tried it out and ordered Star Wars. My total cost? $0. And I still have the $25 credit, so I have decide on if I should get Pilot Wings or Ridge Racer. Which will be tricky, since I've never played any game in either series.

I got my 3DS that I pre-ordered from Amazon today, then went and bought SSF off Amazon today and it still gave me the $25 off. The credit was already in my account I guess.

Eh, could have saved $5, but at least I don't have to wait for shipping.
