I modded my wii using the sticky guide on the top of this forum and here's what I have installed so far on my wii.
    system 4.2E(PAL)
everything mentioned on the sticky guide besides the DVD player program.

    so,simple question.

will my wii be able to play wiiware games that I'm gonna install to the system memory via my SD?
or do I need to install anything extra?

    thanks [IMG]

Unless the guide does it itself, you'll need to install a trucha-patched IOS70 to run fakesigned channels from the SD Card Menu. Other than that, that's all you'll need! [IMG]

You can install a patched IOS70 using DOP-Mii. Just make sure you don't accidentally install the stub version (v6912)!

    Yeah, exactly [IMG]

Now just get the desired game (make sure it has the same region as your Wii, or its "regionfree or use preloader/priiloaders regionfree settings).

Put the .wad file(the game) in your wad folder on your SD, start wad manager, install, have fun.
