Alright, I've been searching through the topics (on multiple forums) for a while, but I can't find anything that seems like it would apply to me, so I'll create a topic in the hopes that someone can help:

I was installing CFW on my PSP using this guide: http://www.blastprocessing.net/?page_id=20 (As a side note, I'd definitely suggest this guide to anyone who needs help, even if I'm currently experiencing "difficulties")

Anyway, I got to the point where I installed the new Custom M33 Firmware. However, once I pressed the "X" button, I read the display, and it mentioned that it couldn't find "380.PBP". As it turns out, I accidentally renamed the file "390.PBP" instead of the "380.PBP" it was supposed to be.

Now, my PSP turns on "normally" using the Pandora battery, but when a normal Battery is placed in it, the Power light turns green for a few seconds, but the screen remains blank. Every piece of information I've found says to turn the PSP on, but my PSP doesn't seem to get that far (even when I hold the R key down to initiate Recovery Mode.)

Anyway, my question is this - I have my NAND-dump backup on the root of the "Magic Memory Stick," and also in a folder on my desktop. However, the information I can't find is how I'm supposed to use it to restore my PSP and change the file name. Does anyone know how I can go about fixing this, or will I have to go and buy another PSP?

Thanks in advance for your help,
~Caustic

Pandoraize again, you're bricked, this happened to me when using the wrong DDC with the wrong firmware, it flashed everything(deleted it all)and it gave an error like that. Just Pandoraize, the PSP is almost, if not completely brick proof with that tool.

EDIT: And do it right this time!

Pardon my ignorance, but what does "Pandoraize" refer to, again?

I can still access the Pandora Battery + MMS screen to create the backup nand-dump, load firmware, etc., but I don't know how I can access the Magic Memory Stick to rename the 390.PBP into 380.PBP, since I can't find a way to get my PSP into USB mode, nor can I find a way to load the nand-dump I already created to restore my PSP back into working order. Unless you're sying there's a different route I'm supposed to take?

Thanks for the help, though, and I'd appreciate any further advice you can give (which is given, I suppose, considering my absolute lack of knowledge here, heh.)

Buy a USB card reader that'll take Memory Stick Pro/Pro Duo, they cost around $5.

Oh, wow. I never even thought of that one, haha. The answer's been sitting in front of me (Well, rather, in a box about 1.5 meters to my left) the entire time.

Thanks a bunch, I'll make sure to get it done properly this time.
