Hacking alternate nand soldering points for corona v6

while using my flat tip to prep the qsb surface my soldering iron temp control decided to crap out and lift pins on me *cries*

anybody got an alternate soldering points than the usual ones that you use to connect an sd card reader? i heard that you can use the tiny points next to where the nand are but cant find a diagram.

i just ordered a new soldering iron set. i will clean it up and show the damage once i get it. I am quite embarassed by it as this hasnt happened to me. I consider myself atleast being decent with a soldering iron. Stupid temp control failing on me is a new one. thats what i get for trusting this junk i guess. I saw the images you posted on the net, not being picky or ungrateful but you know if there are higher res ones?

Unfortunately no.
Then again, I don't know how extensive the damage is, making it difficult to judge whether trace repair is feasible or not.

Do it or don't but make sure you don't make things worse.

I had a quick look at some things but what will go as far as going to traces or whatever will depend upon what is done.

embarassing as hell. i was able to fix some of the pads with the new flat heat soldering tip but still a disaster. I have done a few 360's with 0 issue and good soldering work but goes to show that when a soldering iron is going out on you, you need to know when to stop.

Ouch.
I seen worse tho, had a guy ask me to salvage his failed MRA hack, his drive PCB was covered in solder with dozens of bridges and shorts.

I'm pretty sure that trace repair is an option.
Altho you'd have to get a little creative ;p
