Hacking Almost ready to install wiikey..

I received my wiikey today but i have no kynar..and i cant find any locally here in the uk but i did find this wire in the tool box and i was wondering if i could use it:

I don't know how much thicker it is than 30awg kynar but i was it doesn't seem too oversized..

I'd wrap each strand in electrical tape though to make sure it doesn't short against something it shouldn't - it doesn't look like the wrapping covers it enough. Just be safe is all. The size is bigger than 30... something around 26 I bet, but that's good enough.
