Homebrew ...all this for nothing!? Aftermath of 3DS System Transfer. (DSiWare Downgrade)

... I am quite pissed off.
I was just transferring for damn 8 hours, the DSi ware game, steel diver game.... from O3DS to my N3DS
The point is... after I transferred, the N3DS attempted to connect to the internet maybe to finish up the transfer and gave out an error code, I don't remember what code was, I THOUGHT IT WAS NORMAL.

Thank god I had a NAND backup of my 2DS, I would have been really really sad if I had not the NAND backup. Still, I'm mad.
I wasted 8 HOURS because the N3DS HAD NOTHING OF WHAT I JUST TRANSFERRED! I used the Local SD Transfer instead of the PC one... *facepalm*

Do I have to do all this from the beginning!? -.-

My SD Card was quite big. I used local sd transfer so... yeah

current dsiware downgrades require you to read every step to the point, if you cant handle doing everything precisely right thats fine, buy a hardmod or wait for slowhax if on 11.0 or 11.1.

personally i dsiware nfirm downgraded my 11.2 n3DS with no issues, took me a full weekend to get everything done though

you could have chosen to transfer the rest of the files via pc.. saves you time.. what i did before was do a nand backup, backup SD card and got a smaller sized SD card about just 4GB with only the important stuff like those needed for dsiware downgrade then use that small sized card for system transfer, took about a few minutes, restored source system from nand backup, reinserted the original SD card and all done..

Wait Wait, why does that have anything to do with the dsiware downgrade? A dsiware game injected with a custom save wouldn't just flat out stop a transfer. First of all, did you actually purchase legends of exidia? And did you download steeldiver without the ticket being installed? By that i mean when you clicked download for steeldiver, it didnt say redownload did it? Also for the record, i dont care that you're mad, and frankly nobody does. Making a nand backup is in the tutorial, and you're supposed to do it. Just note I'm trying to help.

Maybe with the amount of time it took, something failed to copy or got corrupted on the way. sounds like you were transferring only a few kb/s

I injected the following payload for Steel Diver for the Target 3DS, 11.2.0-35U I didn't have to redownload Steel Diver because the Plailect's guide never said so.
I got Legend of Zelda Four Swords LEGIT from my sister's DSi.

I followed all the steps. Just... like @WeedZ said, maybe got corrupted something on the way.

The N3DS just error out of me. Attempting to connect to the internet. To finish the transfer I guess.

You should of PC transferred. The o3ds will just transfer essential files (NNID, tickets, and some system stuff), while everything else is left on that SD card to manually move (i just moved my physical sd card to my n3ds when i did it and i had no issues).

Just call nintendo, tell them you lost your 3ds, transfer your nnid back to your 2ds, wait a week and this time don't transfer your sd data.

I was never prompted to do a PC transfer... Just to move the SD card over to the target system when it completed the Local transfer. I errored-out on mine on step 5/5, and just tried again with both systems sitting near my wireless router. It worked, and the transfer completed without any errors.

How do you do an offline system transfer with the PC or whatever? (And why wasn't I ever prompted?)
