Hacking All my personal game's save files are corrupted

okay, not sure if it's all right now, but the 3 i've tested so far are:
fire emblem, mario kart 7, smash bros

i backed up my own rom, saved the save file, renamed said file to the corresponding ID on that list online

launch the game, says my save file is corrupt

anyone have encountered this?

a bit of digging says something about rom and save file need to have same header, but both are my personal games, so there shouldnt be any problems there?

Try using NTR and savedatafiler to move the saves instead.

can you have NTR and gateway on the same card?

noticed u need a .bin file not launcher on the microsd card

I do. You can't run them at the same time.

i tried backing up on ntr
the file is definitely not the same
the save file seems to be unpacked/decrypted

can i convert it to be usable for gateway?

the save file is like 50kb or something, not sure i'm it's done properly, i did wait for 2 green flashes

yep i see that now

update:
renamed it to .3dz worked

seems like any game pre-2013, renaming the file extension does the trick
anything after, seems like you need to do something different with ntr+savefile+savefile program

probably need to do this for smash

Yep, that sums it up. Savedatafiler is what you inject the save into the 3dz or cia save with.
