    Hi,
Took the wii out after a time of not using it.
Tried loading my backup disc using neogamma r9 beta 47, ios 36 (rev 3351)

    But I get an error:
    dvd err 1208
    on all my backup discs.
    running 4.2e

    Any ideas?

You cannot run backups using IOS36. Use ModMii to install cIOS 249d2x56 v6.

Well, I currently am on NeoGamma R9 b50, d2x56v6 (249) according to the app, and it won't load my disc backups either. I have a D2B drive in my Wii, so that shouldn't be a problem. Even finally got DVDX to work, so IMO it just feels like there should be no excuse for these not to work.

Both of you should post sysChecks, just to be sure.

    Thanks Lacius
"ModMii to install cIOS 249d2x56 v6".

Downloaded modmii, and got the file cIOS249[56]-d2x-v6.wad in a COPY_TO_SD/WAD Folder.
Presume i put folder with wad on SD Card.
What do I do then to install?
And how do I config neogamma to use this?
    Thanks

How do I do that? I loaded it up on my SD, ran it... then when it came time where it asked if I wanted to see the report, my Wii remote just stopped staying 'connected' so it would respond to my commands. Had to forcibly shut down the system because of that.

Follow ModMii's instructions to install the WAD file using a WAD manager. NeoGamma should automatically be configured to use IOS249 for backup-loading. More information on d2x can be found here.

Edit: Garland, your issue is obvious from your sysCheck. Your IOS249 is stubbed. Installing 249d2x56 should fix your problem.

If you are having issues posting a sysCheck, follow this guide.

Okay, I can't get syscheck to run, much less give me a report file then. :(

If you are having issues with sysCheck, this guide should be able to help you resolve those issues.

It doesn't freeze. But now it shows a 'unable to mount FAT' error. Wii remote stops responding at all. And there's no syscheck file anywhere.

Funny, older version of Syscheck actually did finish and let me get the report.
    Warning: Spoilers inside!

    Cheers Lacius,
Installed that wad file and all is good again!
Dunno what happened, as it used to work just fine.
Possible that a game overwrote the wad?

It is likely that a disc prompted you to update and you accepted. To avoid this problem in the future, install Priiloader and enable the hacks that block online updates and disc updates.
