Hacking All my 3DS Games & Apps disappeared after a game fixed its own extdata

Title says pretty much all of it.

I went into the gamecard version of tomodachi life, it said the save data was corrupt, it fixed the data but then the next time i want to the home menu all my homebrew apps and SD card games had disappeared.

I have dealt with SD card corruption before but last time the programs were just "?" in data management. This time i can see them properly in data management. Additionally themes, badges, godmode and Luma still work. This makes me think this corruption only affected the games from displaying and they haven't actually been overwritten like they were the first time.

Try deleting home menu extdata https://3ds.guide/troubleshooting (will reset your theme and home menu layout).

i had this problem and my dumbest idea was deleting CFW... DONT do that. EVER.
