These prices are just amazing! Half-Life Complete Pack (all games that start with Half-Life) just $16.99, Valve Complete Pack (all Valve PC games) $89.99, or a la carte: Half-Life for just $3.39, HL: Opposing Force and Blue Shift $1.69 (each).

Steam has so many sales you can hardly call it news anymore.

Very cool. Waiting for another sale on L4D, though. I've got a "copy" of it, but it'd be nice to be able to play online via Steam, as opposed to Garena.

Half-Life 2. The sheet amount of mods available, including Garry's Mod (you may ahve to pay $5 now though...) is enough to warrant it over even Left 4 dead. Damn, Valve, what the fuck were you thinking let's milk money out of new fags

Oh, GTFO! People can piss fire all they want over Valve for this whole nonsense regarding L4D2, but they've always gone above and beyond most other developers/publishers when it comes to providing bang for your buck. And if you think their customers are "fags," don't buy (or steal) Valve's wares.

New fags directed at the lot of (PC) gamers who speak of PC gaming as if all that ever had existed was Orange Box.

As for the comment, Left 4 Dead is an overpriced hunk of software. It still is. I could give a damn less about a sequel, seeing as how the SDK is out now--what I never liked was that Valve supposed the price was worth the short game. Surely, though, there's not much to say when no one needs to buy the thing at all.
