Aliexpress "core" picofly board are bricking nand

Good morning,

Thoses core chips are very convinient, you can clip the nand, but...

I noticed that the core chips from AliExpress can cause problems in OFW. For example :
- Error 2002-3540 when booting or in utilisation
- Can corrupt the nand, forced to make a backup from emuMMC.

I read that it was a story of resistance.

Why are these chips designed like this?
Have you ever encountered these problems?

I have also heard several horror stories about these chips corrupting the nand. Specially the hwfly rp2040 core variety from china.

Personally i bought one of these chips but i dont think im going to install it and better going for an rp2040 zero. I just wonder if the flex is safe to use.

The flex is perfectly safe to use !
But those chips from china are widely ordered and used but they can cause problem...
