Hello fellow R4 Users/GBATemp members, there have been ANOTHER R4 Clone! Its been 3 days, or so and I have been investigating.
First, here are some proof that the N5(Clone of R4) is the clone of the R4.
    Official Website:
    N5- http://www.dsn5.com/index.files/en/index.htm
    R4- http://www.r4ds.com/index-en.htm
Its practicaly the same, except the main image. The words are simply the same too.

    Packaging:
N5- http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11457 (On the left, there are images. Click on the Box. It should open in a new window.)
R4- http://alexelderrfd.googlepages.com/R4.jpg (Not mine, but my camera has the worst quality so its either bad quality of this.) I cant seem to find the back but yea.

    Back of Packaging/Details:
    N5(In order)-
2nd generation storage device (no booting tool required)
Flush fitting slot 1 card. Uses MicroSD card, FAT 16 or 32
Supports any MicroSD card speed with no lag in game
Supports clean ROM, drag and drop. Works with any OS.
    Built in NoPass
    Automatically detect save type
Save directly to MicroSD card, not to onboard chip
Supports Moonshell and other homebrew. Open I/O interface
User friendly skinnable interface. Touchscreen or button operation
Supports rumble pak and memory pak.
Supports WIFI game, DS Rumble Pak, DS Browser
Supports change of the background of Operation Interface
Supports 4-scale-lightness adjustment ( DS Lite only )
    Supports the Soft Reset
    Full download play support
Support skin DIY by setting background and front colors on Main Menu and Game Menu manually and automatically

    Supports Action Replay cheat
moonshell 1.6 support Software Reset function ( Press START key back to the r4 menu)
    DLDI auto-patching.

Now, see for yourself. The R4 came out earlier the the N5. The N5, stupidly thought of making there own chip and stole the 1st generation of the R4(cause its spring loaded) and just changed a few things.

I would avoid the N5 card. Just get the actual R4 if that's what you want.

Just downloaded the v 1.15 FW from the N5 site and it's a corrupt zip file. Wanted to compare the 2 files to see if they could possibly be the same FW. Also checked the source from the N5 site and they even reference R4ds.com

I just thought it's funny that a "new" company wouldn't even change the code behind the page to try and hide the fact they stole the information. What is this world coming to? [IMG]

lol, I remember seeing this thing on DX when it first came out, I've said it before, they should have been creative with the name "Nevolution five DS" sound a lot better.
