Gaming airplane games

i just recently played nanostray and loved it are there any other airplane games like gladius or raiden or rtype?

u could try homebrew or gba games

gba games off the top of my head
iridion
gradius advance

homebrew
everyextends
geowars
bullet gba
wright flight(i think it goes by another name now)

and there are plenty on the pc
varia
clean asia
and many more

Any good games like Aero Fighters on the SNES for gba or nds? I've been searching for games like this for a long time but no luck.

Nanostray 2 is out in January I think and theres also Raid Over the River coming soon.

"glory days" barely fits here but its a good game anyways

check Raptor, Tyrian (its now freeware), Aero Fighter on SNES (u can play with via SNES emulator called SnemulDS)

and Arcade has best SHMUPs, like 19xx, 1945, etc.

yeah i was leaning more toward the nds site but thanks for all the titles. i really enjoy playing 1945s' tho. japan has a bunch of crazy bullet dodging airplane games. i dont see why they dont port it to the ds =D
