    Seagate 2TB BarraCuda Laptop Hard Drive 2.5" 7mm SATA III 6GB's 5400RPM 128MB

Anyone one have one of these. Is it a good buy for £58 its for my 5.05 slim

Also are the PS4 3.5" case /drive mods any good for my stock phat seen one on ebay for £13 as have loads of 3.5" inch drives.

My only worry is the pass through power adapter. Anyone used one?

First problem - It's a Seagate. Second problem, its 5400RPM, third problem, it is likely used. You can get much better HDDs, at same price. Or shell out a couple extra bones, and get an SSD. 1tb for about $100, or 2tb for like $160. that seagate, it will be slow, and prone to failure (seagate has a track record). Good luck.

Price is good but the problem is: All 2.5 inch seagate drives are SMR drives, which means performance will fall through the floor when you start to fill it up. IMO stay away from SMR drives. Only 2.5 inch PMR drive I know is WD Red and it's expensive. So you might as well go for an SSD, or use a 3.5 inch drive with the adapter. Make sure you get a PMR drive, because some 3.5 inch drives are also SMR.

    I didn't know that about Hdd's.

I recently bought a new 2TB usb drive to keep a backup of my pkg files on.
At first it was transfering at about 135MB/s which dropped to around 100MB/s after it started to fill up.
I have 2 other identical 2TB usb drives that I also keep a backup of my pkgs files on and when they were almost full the transfer rate was about 65MB/s.
It all makes sense now. thanks for the info. I cant beleive I only just found this out now after all these years.LOL

hmm, I only buy wd hdds, just because I've heard of issues with seagate. I have one or two seagtes, and I think one hitachi. however, I have like 30 wd hdds.

Words can’t describe how useful with will be for menu editing, on screen menus, and game overlays. Not to mention that Mira will be deploying this in future. Exciting times!

Oho I can't wait for debug settings to not be a thing anymore, too many people like to screw around and break their consoles immediately lol

I've been using a PS4 on 6.72 just got my original PS4 working again by fixing the HDMI port, it's on 7.51. Couple of questions.

Could I use the saves from the 7.51 on 6.72 using savemounter or 6.72 saves on 7.51 either or both?
Could I use my external hard drive from 6.72 on the 7.51 using Hen?
What is a good exploit page for 7.51? I can't seem to load Darkmodders.
Should I stay on 7.51 or update to 7.55?

Thanks for info. I'm also curious about backported saves on games that were backported from 7.5x to 6.72. Would they work on 7.5x, ironically.

Loading the exploit page on 7.51 is brutal.

At least there's not a system crash everytime the exploit failed like there used to be.

    — Posts automatically merged - Please don't double post! —

    I loaded prbs leeful method.

So when it's looking for smashed stringlmpl, that's a good thing right? Just let it keep trying?

I've been trying for several hours now, and only loaded an exploit one time and it frozze when I tried to mount a save in save mounter 1.8.
