I think what matters is the sdk that was used for the game. I once saw a switch game that used the sdk from like firmware 5.0.0, but was encrypted with master key 10.

maybe the 7.02 wil be more stable so we can update
or (dreaming) someone wil exploit the "ps4" side of the ps5

maybe, but the ps4 scene has been a disaster, so you may see fewer people working on the ps5 aside from disclosing exploits. so far, hackerone only mentions ps4, but I can guarantee ps5 will be added (probably before release).

you're right, the ps4 scene was a disaster .. a big disappointment ... so far no real CFW for PS4. (OpenOrbis is not a real CFW.)

    No keys = no CFW.

We have to work with what we got.

The days of coldboot cfw are probably over, even for the switch. That system is only hacked due to a hardware fuck up by nvidia

Btw, we don't even have the pfs keys on the vita but we can bypass them. That's what we do on the ps4. We have the system strip pfs for us in the sandbox partition.

PS4 FPKG's that are copied using AppToUSB are valid backups right? Those files can stand alone? I could now safely delete the game in the PS4?

Afaik no. App2USB moves the files and created a sim link. Deleting the game internally will mess it up afaik.

So I should install it again using Package installer to make a valid backup? Then backup using EasyPKG extractor? I only want a backup of the game, I will not play it.

App2usb deletes internal pkg and syslinks it to the one on your external. Deleting it will remove the one on your ext device.
Why don't you just dump the game to an ext usb device if you want only a backup

Death Stranding is giving me this error when starting it up: CE-34878-0. Its says checking the error status then the Please wait message then it closes it. I already installed the 5.05 patch, but the 1.02 update I didn't.

so you installed a 6.xx game, then the 5.05 fix, and then a 6.xx update?

I only installed the game and the 5.05 patch. Is it safe to rebuild the database of a jailbroken PS4? I tried reinstalling the game, clearing the PS4 cache, and changing the resolution, but the error still occurs.

Nooooo, will remove all games . Try a 5.05 update or delete game and install it again with another 5.05 fix, use the same resource for game+backlight and use hen 2.1.3

Try extended storage. It works on 5.05 as does rest mode
