    again several versions with the same number? oh yeah, the developers didn't learn anything from the past .. (I don't understand why it didn't update to the new version).

    Think about why the versions are written into the program, it is also taught in primary school (friendly message).

    Agreed it should be perhaps 2.1.4-1 or something.

    Yes. Unfortunatly there will always be a chance of a kernel panic because of the way the 5.05 kernel exploit works. It has nothing to do with Hen.

    Even when mira is properly released, there will still be a chance of a kernel panic because it still has to use the same kernel exploit to load it. (unless they have another method that has not been released)

    @Leeful @night_hawk the latest Mira releases are showing higher and higher stability levels, AlAzif reported surviving heaps of loading, changing payload, reload payload, without rebooting and never KPing.

    AlAzif is curating the payloads to be universal and incredibly stable. Coming soon.

    It might be stable once it has successfully loaded but I cant see that stopping the chance of a kernel panic happening during the initial process of the kernel being patched before mira is loaded. (if it uses the existing kernel exploit)

    Don't get me wrong, I'm not dogging mira, I'm excited and looking forward to it being finished.:)

    I literally came here to ask that lol, i been away from the ps4 scene for a long time and was just wondering if this was still a problem but you mentioned stable payloads that do it less frequently? I keep using HEN 2.0 and i can always tell whenever the KP is about to happen, the payload loading circle starts to slow down and im like "oh no here we go" then ps4 turns off....

    According to THIS report, if you hold down buttons while resetting the console you can force it to do things it normally doesn’t! In this case play out of region games on a Chinese PS4.

    My question is: WHAT OTHER SECRET COMBOS ARE THERE?

    Ok here is an update to the previous secret button combo information:

    1. Make sure your console is on latest available FW
    2. Go to Settings > Initialisation > Initialise PS4
    3. On this screen hold: L2 + R2 + Triangle + D-Pad Right for 5 seconds.

    This is working for Chinese consoles that cannot log in to other regions PSN networks, but may be handy for other regions too.

    The information is held in ShellUI :
    Sce.Vsh.ShellUI.Settings.Format.RestoreSystem
    SetPadListenerModeOn()
    New SettingsPadEntry((Buttons)12324u, 5000u, false)

    5000u = 5 seconds
    12324u = Total of values:

    L2 = 4096
    R2 = 8192
    Triangle = 32
    Right = 4

    public enum Buttons : uint
    {
    // Token: 0x04005C2C RID: 23596
    Left = 1u,
    // Token: 0x04005C2D RID: 23597
    Up = 2u,
    // Token: 0x04005C2E RID: 23598
    Right = 4u,
    // Token: 0x04005C2F RID: 23599
    Down = 8u,
    // Token: 0x04005C30 RID: 23600
    Square = 16u,
    // Token: 0x04005C31 RID: 23601
    Triangle = 32u,
    // Token: 0x04005C32 RID: 23602
    Circle = 64u,
    // Token: 0x04005C33 RID: 23603
    Cross = 128u,
    // Token: 0x04005C34 RID: 23604
    Start = 256u,
    // Token: 0x04005C35 RID: 23605
    Select = 512u,
    // Token: 0x04005C36 RID: 23606
    L = 1024u,
    // Token: 0x04005C37 RID: 23607
    R = 2048u,
    // Token: 0x04005C38 RID: 23608
    L2 = 4096u,
    // Token: 0x04005C39 RID: 23609
    R2 = 8192u,
    // Token: 0x04005C3A RID: 23610
    L3 = 16384u,
    // Token: 0x04005C3B RID: 23611
    R3 = 32768u,
    // Token: 0x04005C3C RID: 23612
    Enter = 65536u,
    // Token: 0x04005C3D RID: 23613
    Back = 131072u
    }

    FWIW there seems to be 4 more combinations around console info, and another pertaining to debug.....

    Its your PS4 and you can do whatever you want. We are staying what we are. No update. And I cannot care about playing online. The online is VERY useless, really.
