    Question Please:
Can I use my USB hard which is formatted as extended storage to My PS4 to install games on the hard itself or on internal storage?
The steps I want to do is:
DC hard from PS, connect it to my computer, copy fpkg then reconnect to ps and try to install games through package installer from the hard to the hard itself..
Will this work? I didn't try this before and I will when I get home after a week or so, however any insight be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    No this will not work.
Once the USB drive is formatted as Extended Storage it will not be visible on a PC anymore, so you cannot copy any files onto it.

@hitosura999 try this: delete cookies and web data then cache x-project in your browser:

    https://playstationdev.wiki/x/index.html

When your system starts up, give it 20-30 seconds to boot up and get ready. Load browser, load HEN 1.8 (I use L1), and when the notification pops, press PS button to minimise the browser. You can then start your games.

I use this daily and it works flawlessly.

If your games have the issue it might require riff renamer payload (perhaps if you used Mira hen to install them?)or worst maybe your hdd is sketchy?

KP on game save is not normal.

    Good NEWS.
As you all know, some say the PS4 scene is dead, that's not true, and I would like to share my opinion(please share if you agree).

a man who posted a "secret method" wrote this on his twitter:

simply that the PS4 scene is not dead and this is right, then I explain why.

new "quick hen" for 3.55 was released, then it says "hen for 3.55 master race is next!".

    As I see it?
next month(May 2019) will be QuickHen for 3.50,
next month(June 2019) will be QuickHen for 3.15,
next month(July 2019) will be QuickHen for 3.11,
next month(August 2019) will be QuickHen for 3.10,
next month(September 2019) will be QuickHen for 3.00,
next month(October 2019) will be QuickHen for 2.57,
next month(November 2019) will be QuickHen for 2.55,
next month(December 2019) will be QuickHen for 2.51,
next month(Januar 2020) will be QuickHen for 2.50,
next month(February 2020) will be QuickHen for 2.04,
next month(March 2020) will be QuickHen for 2.03,
next month(April 2020) will be QuickHen for 2.02,
next month(June 2020) will be QuickHen for 2.01,
next month(July 2020) will be QuickHen for 2.00,
but as he wrote, ps4 scene is not dead :nayps3:
According to this plan it is absolutely clear that the ps4 scene lives.

yes, the PS4 scene is not dead.
There is a lot of news in the background, but also some public ones.
I do not want to talk specifically but maybe there will be great news soon. :)

There is plenty going on behind the scenes, I always post info as soon as it’s possible to share things. Occasionally I am privy to info I can’t make public, but just trust me that majoritively: it’s better not to fuel the hype machine, especially due to super salty pirates reactions.

Some discoveries need to remain quiet for a while as devs delve deeper and don’t tip off Sony.

CelesteBlue is making huge progress with reducing krop size to 1/4th the original code, porting useful WebKits and Kex (followed by dumpers and hen) to various other firmwares so every firmware can do things.

I can confirm the key left in ARK is plain text, however idk how you would extract it from image0 without the passkey anyway. I tried with Lmans pkg viewer and the title.json is not available in the extractable RSA’d section.

It’s a chicken or egg situation.

I think you missed out on some info with the Linux loading, KiiWii. It's only showing me black screen (I don't have HDCP or HDMI link enabled) if I use the eeplinux loader and also from what I searched on the internet you need to rename any other ps4 linux to the psxitarch name otherwise it wouldn't work. So I think a rewrite or some clarification of some conditions could be of use.

Also, is it possible to run a DualShock 4 on the PS4 on the same username as the one that's remoteplaying? I want to use remoteplay on User1 through my PC, but keep 0 extra input latency by keeping the DS4 directly connected to the PS4, not the PC.

Are you using psxita v2 Linux? With the newer payloads? Eeplys old payload is no longer the best if you’re using this installation.

Use the 1/2/3gb vram payloads in x-project 1.5.5

I just followed your tutorial on the first page with the eeplys payload with the last reply you mentioned about gentoops4, and with your xproject 1.5.5.

That's why I said the tutorial needs to be brought up-to-date.

My bad, I misinterpreted in a way or another hahah, but I replied to the question you asked forgetting to thank you for the info!

Thank you for the explanation and besides this, do you have any idea about that RemotePlay idea?

Afaik yes, you can either connect the pad to the PS4 or the remote play device, the choice is yours.

If I connect the pad to the PS4 on the user that's using remote play, it'll disconnect the remote play user.

On the other hand I backed up from the PC side the .bin that's saving User1/2 login and I can switch between the two of them(remote play for User 2 and play on User 1 account with DS4 connected to User 1). But I was looking to play with DS4 on the same user that uses RemotePlay(that is in my case usually User1)

Youre right, I have an odd feeling I was thinking of the remote play method for XBOXONE... though I'm sure I did it on PS4 too... however if you make a second account on your console for RP and use the first for the DS4.
