I already have 1.5 linked, odd that 1.4 would get updated, did he regress something?

i edit my post
ESP8266 Arduino board Self hosting instructions. @KiiWii
Yeah i saw this the other day but I dont get how you put your own pages on there :/ or after the bin is flashed to it can you then ftp/usb into it to alter its contents?
ok seems in the last qwertys rewrite to webkit was a bug then console wakes from rest mode its gets black screen,
KiiWii SELF HOST INDEX V2 black screens
KiiWii SELF HOST INDEX V1 not
http://psn.exposed/ black screens (use qwertys rewrite to webkit)
Yeah I have read about (and experienced) the new version crashing randomly.
Its fast as heck when it works
Swings and roundabouts.
Hi everyone, does this setup requires an active internet connection in Steps 1-3?
If you are self hosting you do not require internet, just wired/wireless networking.
@KiiWii are you still getting the long loading/game freezing issues with the latest Webkit release?
I'm still getting it. Do you know if it's a known issue or hasn't it been discussed much apart from us?
Does anyone else here get the same issues with long game loading/game freezing? It doesn't happen very often but enough to be annoying
Its an issue experienced by people on various forums. I dont know if qwerty knows about it, its probably the other end of the userland/kernel equation.
I still get errors every know and then, its annoying, but it is what it is.
Ahh, I just thought it may have been an issue that's gone under the radar and the devs haven't noticed I would bring it up to Qwerty but that guy gets pummelled with msg's on his twitter that it would probably get lost in with the rest.
Yeah I thought same thing. Perhaps the userland element has a knock on effect with the rop/payload/kernel? Maybe it all need rewriting above userland.
I'm not sure, but if it does turn out to be just one of those little quirks with 4.55 only and with the potential release of the 5.05 around the corner, it may not be an issue for long ;^)
I am also having problems using the latest webkit. I havent had a game freeze yet but I have experienced the longer game loading but the main problem is the black screen crash resuming from rest mode.
Before It could last for a week or so without having to run the exploit again but now resuming from rest mode hardly works at all.
Always had issue with restmode myself, best advised not to use it mate.
I have had games load for 3x longer than normal but still play, had memory errrors loading VTXHEN, had it where ps4 freezes turning it off (selecting restart or shutdown).
Ps4 Serve2 v1.7
it seems qwertys rewrite to the userland.js part of the exploit is causing issues for some people so instead of removing the new version of it I have added the ability to use the old exploit so you can choose whats right for you.
there is a settings button in the top left corner of the app now, inside that you will find an option Use old exploit. with that option ticked it will use the old userland.js (exploit)
Advance preview of my WebExploit Host V3:
(I should mention that I have converted every payload I could get my grubby mitts on, but not all of them work yet: watch this space!)
NOT FULL HEN YET!
Webkit ported to 5.03: https://github.com/unknownv2/ps4-5.03-webkit-exploit
So i've been off the PS4 for a long time due to some RL stuff, and decided to hook up the old girl and saw she was on 4.07 (FF XV Chocobo Festival was last time I played maybe). Was bummed to find out 4.05 was the "golden" OFW to have, but reading this has given me hopes for getting something set up and hopefully replace my old PS3 as my PS2 player lol.
So is there anything that the exploit for 4.55 doesn't do that 4.05 does? Basic stuff like backups and PS2 emulation should work just fine right? Sad that PS2 playback is such a big selling point, but I don't trust my old Phat PS3 to hold out forever.
4.55 basically does everything 4.05 does, the only thing off the top of my head 4.55 doesn't do correctly is Linux. Everything else it does fine.
Yes, PS2 works just as well on 4.55 as it does on 4.05
