    hi guys, I have a question. at the moment, is it impossible to backup DLCs? I just dumped my DAI, but the final size on my hdd is 45 gb something, which is odd because my DAI:GOTY installation is about 67 gb in size.

    They probably merged the app and patch so it shows 1.00 bits it’s actually updated. Or the opposite and they did it properly and installation shows correct version but the names fpkg is just named incorrectly.

    @TRoN1 for completion mate. People like to collect games regardless, and “just in case” online hen ever happens.

    Yes, back up any addcont folders associated with your game id.

    The new fpkg 3.38 (iirc) supports addcont and can split it over discs too.

    Thanks alot for the tutorials! It was super useful and easy to follow!

    I do have a question that I was hoping others can help me with (sorry if it's been asked before or posted somewhere; I looked but wasn't 100% on the answer).

    If I have a pkg for an older firmware (say 4.05), can I play the installed game if I run Mira+Hen 5.05 (or other firmware version higher than 4.05)? Also related to this question, when installing the 4.05 pkg, would Hen 4.05 have to be used, or any Hen version equal to or above 4.05?

    Thanks!

    Yes even fpkg from 1.76 work fine on 5.05.

    Use the highest version of hen to install games to your console.

    If you have a 5.05 console 4.05 hen won’t work anyway, but any 4.05 and 4.55 etc fpkgs will install fine.

    I've managed to slightly reduce the sizes of the GTA V Mod pages I've been working on.
    It's not much but speeds up the loading time a little.
    Lamance 11.2mb > 9.41mb
    Psych0s 11.1mb > 7.98mb
    intense 1.92mb > 1.60mb

    Fantastic! Does this alter the zero'd out sections?

    Also: Any joy converting the simple trainer that comes with lamance?

    Would be great to make a quick tool that converts payloads to this format.

    All I've done this time is condensed the code a little so:
    Code:
    function writeGTA(p,addr){
    p.write4(addr.add32(0x00000000),0x000c7be9);
    p.write4(addr.add32(0x00000004),0x0f2e6600);
    p.write4(addr.add32(0x00000008),0x0000841f);
    becomes:
    Code:
    function writeGTA(p,b){
    p.write4(b.add32(0x0),0xc7be9);
    p.write4(b.add32(0x4),0xf2e6600);
    p.write4(b.add32(0x8),0x841f);
    I'm still trying to get it to work with the 0x000c7be9,0x0f2e6600,0x0000841f.... format but no luck yet.

    As for the trainer, I had forgot about that. I'll take a look later.

    @nerirififi I've converted the 5.05 linux loader.bin from valentinbreiz in the same way I did for the GTA mods.
    I cannot test myself because I do not have linux setup. Let me know if it works. (dont forget to run hen first)

    Doesn't work !

    I use a hen for menu GTA V, but he crash the console if i have USB Disk plugged, maybe it s not the good hen.
    But he work for launch menu GTA V

    If you want to launch linux, just put Bzimage and initframios in USB key on fat 32, you don't need to have linux installed.
    This 2 files are a little linux.

    Sorry it did'nt work. It was worth a try.:)

    I can't test linux because I dont have a spare USB drive at the moment. They are all filled up with backups of fake PKGs.

    Have you tried the html linux loader from KiiWii's host pack?

    Yes it doesn't work for me, i got the same problem in 4.55 > 1 day for fix it :(

    The launch of payload in 5.05 is different with 4.05 and 4.55.
    For 4.55 to fix it, i modify the userland.js and i got a boot. ( take one from another payload)
    But for 5.05 all is in 1 file.
    i don't know the file contain payload.js, because that don't exist in 5.05 if i see well :)

    I think if you put Bzimage and initfram in Ex fat disk you should boot.

    The original version was great for RSA'd section, but now I guess he's added (32x0's) known keys to the PFS equation: GitHub - Red-EyeX32/OrbisPkg: OpenOrbis

    Anyone got it compiled?

    Thanks in advance!

    I'm assuming I can self-host on a PI as well? I don't want to turn my pc on every time plus an extra peace of mind of ps4 not being on

    — Posts automatically merged - Please don't double post! —

    Im using ESP for now, but because of its limited space, I may end up self hosting. thanks
