Either is fine IMO, but with 6.72 you have to deal with backports. But no there's no backups so there's no going back but 9 is very stable and no backports (except above 9)

Somehow horizon forbidden west got uninstalled. I like how you can have ps4 games install to external, ps5 to internal. Xbox has no such option, so since I download a lot more non series x games, I changed default install location to the external hdd.

xbox series works the same: Set default install location to external hdd and then you will be prompted to install to internal when you want to download a series game.

my recommendation, do not lost the 6.72. It's the best.

I updated my two PS4s one on 6.72 one on 7.55 to 9. At first I was only going to update the 7.55, but I just decided to update both and don't really regret it at all. Al Azif's 9.0 exploit works 99% of the time with usb. 6.72 is very stable too though and is fine.

The main thing is whether there will be some better hack for lower firmwares later on.

When you load a game there's about 10 seconds before the eboot is loaded into memory.

This payload will 100% be writing the goldhen cheats in this time window.

You can patch eboots with PS4Cheater if you have your patch hex cheat list locked and ready. You just have to start spamming PS4Cheater's process refresh button at the same time as you select your game on PS4.

Once eboot.bin is automatically selected you can stop hitting refresh as your eboot will now be patched.

I had a pc game like that yesterday it was 2gb but for some reason it was saying 40gb when installed via windows app management
