I have not yet done the part of "cutting" the trail, I would like to confirm with you if this is where I highlight the image below:
    IMG_0135.JPG

Is this the correct location on my board?

I had this doubt because my board does not have the same numbering (C7B) next to the A than the board of this tutorial

    I have this motherboard :
    IMG_0864.JPG

In my case, i think it's the same method beacause is the ags cpu 10 , but you have the model ags cpu 01, i have no expierience for that case.

Thanks for replying, I'm glad I did not cut it yet, I'll have to appeal and ask for help for @arzi84 and see if he can tell me if that's where I should break the trail:
    IMG_0135.JPG

I compared the two boards (mine and tutorial) and realized the last pin (where we welded the wire) of the board of the tutorial has a track (where we should make the cut of this track):
    Sem título.jpg

My board does not have this track, only on the penultimate pin (one after where the wire should be welded).
With that I'm thinking: I should solder the wire in this penultimate pin (which has the track) and cut this track or my card has no way to follow this tutorial?

    Don't cut that trace.
It looks like on your board revision trace goes under display connector
I don't know if it is possible to cut it.

Where you have soldered gnd wire it looks like solder touches cpu pins that will possibly damage your board.

Thanks for the reply, I'll undo the welding point gnd and redo it calmly.

On the trail that I must break to be able to use the wire that is welded on the last pin, which path should I break? Do you want some images or images that could help in your analysis so that you can help me or I have bad luck with this board and should I give up?

@Glaciel and @arzi84 what do you guys think about my question from the above post?

You can be honest, with this answer I will have a "north" to follow, besides stop bothering you with doubts.

With this I will know if there is a solution or should I start looking for a board used in Aliexpress as soon as possible.

Thank you for everything as always.

If it is not possible to cut that trace only option is to remove the pin from display connector and solder that wire to back side of display.
Removing pin is very difficult, it would be easier to get different board. pin.JPG Here I tried to lift the pin but it came off completely.
On this board I could have cut that trace.

Here is solderpoint where to solder the wire.

    Hello friends.
If the installation is successful, is it possible to adjust the backlight(high/low) erection?

Thanks a lot for the help.

Let's see if I get it: First I remove that last pin and instead of soldering the end of the wire there, I'll solder where you showed on the GBA screen, the other end of this wire goes normally to the VOUT of the board, correct?

Wish I had have seen this first, absolutely none of the video tutorials for screen mods mentioned this and made it seem like it was just swapping screens like nothing. I installed a backlight LCD screen I bought from a Chinese seller on ebay. The system turns on but there's no backlight. If I hold a torch to the screen I can see that it's functioning just fine, loading my games and playing them etc

So If I want this screen to backlight I have to follow this?

This is only on/off if you want low setting additional resistor is needed but I haven't done that mod.

    Yes

    Yes

I think on those tutorials they also change motherboard to AGS-101 version.

Thanks for the reply, I will now wait for the device I bought on Aliexpress and start the work.
Between today or tomorrow I will do the process of "lifiting the pin" according to the image you sent and welding one part of the wire there (on the GBA screen) and the other will go to VOUT in the future.
As soon as I finish, I post pictures here to stay as an example for future questions.

I can unsolder those pins for free some space ? Or it's not recommended ?

If you have a decent soldering iron, flux and soldering wick, you should be able to remove them

Just wondered, if the solution below is any better or worse than the one shown in this thread. This mod is offered by some aliexpress sellers. Any thoughts?

So I tried to do this mod but my soldering skills are lacking so I soldered of the C54 section on the board I was wondering if it is okay to bypass it with solder or so I have to get a replacement and where would I get that?
I have solder over it now just to be clear
