Thrill Kill, the cancelled PS1 game, was only cancelled because it was hit by an AO rating by the ESRB and Sony didn't want an AO game on their console back then.

The AO version of Thrill Kill still got leaked all over the internet. I've played it, and I'm not joking when I say there are several TEEN games that are much worse than that game nowadays. I'm picking Other, because the choices you gave make no sense. Make them higher, make them lower? What?

EDIT: Oh, now I see. You're the same person that posted the "why would you celebrate that you get older" thread. No wonder it makes no sense.

Lol, I'm 117 cm (3 feet ~10-11 inches) tall with no breasts at all and 24 years old [IMG] It's hilarious when I try to buy a M rated game. (I'm a runt RL, not a midget/dwarf/"little person" btw)

    EDIT: Fixed math error.

I think it's fine until games like Mr. Mosquito, then I wonder how half of the games today can get by with so much stuff.

I think ratings for games could be lower, they need to stop being so uptight(?).

Like some places saying doa is child junk. [IMG]

no, i have my own sources. well, if you watch it in regulated places, for example, cinemas. that's the only time i think that ratings will work.

The original version was rated AO, it was then cut and submitted for a M but EA bought Virgin Interactive Entertainment at the same and axed alot of the games in development including Thrill Kill.
IIRC Thrill Kill was all but complete and EA canned it because they didn't want to affect their image.

    I really hate age-rating.
Whats the point? Even though Black Ops is not for minors, 80% of all people there are ages 3 and up.

If you don't want your kid to play mature games - don't buy them then.

I dont know about the American rating system, but the Australian one needs improvement. We give games MA15+ when they really should be 18+, simply because thats the highest they can rate it without it being "unclassified" which essentially means banned. I wont elaborate any further since I could go on for ages, and it has been covered before, both on the temp and also elsewhere.

    usefull for us
but in europe its pegi that rates the games
(and some reviewers that they ask to play (mostly just normal kids/teens) (holland)
if you are in holland/belgium you can prcticipe in this (site comes later whe ni am remebering it again/ the admins aprove this)
the games you get are for the consoles you have and you can keep those games (ps its totally unpaid job the games are your payment)
this means you dont get money
